Works well, finding good spot for it a problem for me
Works really good, but in the winter, when I have gloves on and am bundled up like the kid on Christmas Story to get to work on my bike, it is hard to find a place to put the controller so you can adjust it durng your ride. I usually roll up excess cable and the controller and put them in the outside pocket of my bomber jacket. But with gloves on and the the jacket pocket position, it is VERY VERY difficult to get to the controller during the ride.I usually put it on highest setting before the ride (30 minutes each way to work, every day, until temp hits 20). By the middle of the ride my fingertips are burning. If I could reach the controller, I'd turn it down a couple notches and everything would be okay. Hard to do with gloves and jacket. This winter I may try to rig up a handlebar mount to see if that might work better and easier.Overall, the controller works extremely well but finding a good spot to access it is the real problem. Nothing wrong with the controller itself.

User-friendly Install, Control Heat with 300 degrees turning knob
I recently bought this and recieved it on March 5, 2018. I was able to test these out with my heated pair of gloves on my 2016 Yamaha R3. I connected my multimeter onto my motorcycle's battery, and had about 13 volts with the bike turned off. I turned on my bike and my multimeter read my battery's voltage around 14.36 to 14.40. After I turned the knob to max, my battery's voltage stayed within 14.36 to 14.37.This was a quick test to give a quick review on how it works. The Firstgear Single Portable Heat-Troller comes with a 15 amp fuse already installed. The battery terminals are the ring-type.

I'd recommend it.
This works exactly as described. Wires are plenty long enough and the size of it is very convenient. Very simple and straightforward to set up and puts out more than enough warmth for my glove liners. It took me a little while to figure this out but the LED on it blinks with different frequency depending on the level it is set to. I'd recommend it.

As I have several heated garments that I like to use across multiple vehicles it makes sensefor me to have a portable controller that allows me to mix and match and at the same timehave the ability dial in the amount of heat to be perfectly comfortable. This unit works perfectly, is compact and has proven to be rugged and reliable.Would definitely recommend it to others.

Easy controls
Works well, would love a more permanent mounted option

Controls the heat nicely
I have battery tender dongles on both of my bikes so the additional connector to the battery wasn't needed, but it is handy to have just in case. Other than that, the controller does as advertised and I found out the male end is compatible with 12V 5A output on my Anker 10,000mAH battery. This offers portability for the glove liners I have paired up with this, which is a nice little extra.

Better than I hoped for
I ride my motorcycle year round through rain, snow and sunshine. Heated gear is an absolute must and this controller works perfectly. 2 years and 15,000 cold-weather miles in and it just keeps on trucking. I use it to power Gerbings gloves and insoles and it's held up just as well as any controller I've seen.
